Invictus is a 2009 biographical drama film based on events in South Africa before and during the 1995 Rugby World Cup, hosted in that country following the dismantling of apartheid. Directed by Clint Eastwood, the film stars Morgan Freeman as South African President Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as François Pienaar, the captain of the Springboks, the South African rugby union team. The story is based on the John Carlin book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Changed a Nation. Invictus was released in the United States on December 11, 2009.

Mafalda

Mafalda is a comic created by Argentine author Quino. It was published from 1964 to 1973. This comic is starred by a girl called Mafalda who is described as a "mirror of the middle class and the latin american progressive youth". In the comic, she is often seen worried about humanity and world peace-Also she rebels against the world that the adults have passed down to the new generations. Mafalda has been translated into more than 30 languages. It is very popular in Latin America, Spain, Italy, France and other european countries.
In the beggining of the comic Mafalda is six years old, later on, she enrolls in kindergarten. Mafalda likes the Beatles and Woody Woodpecker, she also enjoys playing with her friends in the park. Her favorite food is pancakes and she hates eating soup. Apparently, in the 10 years that the comic lasted, she passes to the third or fourth grade at elementary school. The comments and remarks of Mafalda are a mirror of the social and political unrest of the 60's. She was born on march 15, 1962 according to Quino but her birthday is usually celebrated the day when the first Mafalda comic book was released, on September 29,1964.

The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960, and one of the mostcommercially successful and critically acclaimed acts in the history of popular music. From 1962 the group consisted of John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). Rooted in skiffleand 1950s rock and roll, the group later worked in many genres ranging from pop ballads topsychedelic rock, often incorporating classical and other elements in innovative ways. The nature of their enormous popularity, which first emerged as the "Beatlemania" fad, transformed as their songwriting grew in sophistication. The group came to be perceived as the embodiment of progressive ideals, seeing their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s.

Confucius (born 551 , Ch'ü-fu, state of Lu—died 479, Lu) Ancient Chinese teacher, philosopher, and political theorist. Born into a poor family, he managed stables and worked as a bookkeeper while educating himself. Mastery of the six arts—ritual, music, archery, charioteering, calligraphy, and arithmetic—and familiarity with history and poetry enabled him to begin a brilliant teaching career in his thirties. Confucius saw education as a process of constant self-improvement and held that its primary function was the training of noblemen (junzi). He saw public service as the natural consequence of education and sought to revitalize Chinese social institutions, including the family, school, community, state, and kingdom. He served in government posts, eventually becoming minister of justice in Lu, but his policies attracted little interest. After a 12-year self-imposed exile during which his circle of students expanded, he returned to Lu at age 67 to teach and write.

Albin Toffler

Alvin Toffler (born October 3, 1928) is an American writer and futurist, known for his works discussing the digital revolution, communication revolution, corporate revolution and technological singularity.
